Sending invitations to multiple users

Follow the instructions below to add multiple users to your account.  

Prerequisites

  • You need a Manager or Administrator user role.

Instructions

Inviting groups of contacts from your account

  1. Open the organization that has the contacts you want to invite.
  2. Click on Contacts from the sidebar to open the Contacts list view where you can maintain all the contacts for that organization.
  3. Look for the contacts you want to invite and check the box beside each person's name.

  4. Click Actions (top right) and then Invite Contacts to invite them to your IT Glue account.

  5. On the Create User screen, you can specify the role, group memberships, and organizational accesses each user will have.
    Important. You must add at least one organization before leaving this screen. Check the Allow All Organizations box if you want to give them automatic access to all future organizations.
  6. Click Save.

Clicking save will trigger an email to each user with a pre-loaded invitation message.

Inviting users by email

  1. Navigate to Account > Users and click on + New.

  2. In the Users section (top left), enter the first email address and then click on the plus_sign.png (plus sign) to add the email address. Keep adding as many email addresses as you want.

  3. Next, specify the role, group memberships, and organizational accesses each user will have.
    Important. You must add at least one organization before leaving this screen. Check the Allow All Organizations box if you want to give them automatic access to all future organizations.
  4. Click Save.

Clicking save will trigger an email to each user with a pre-loaded invitation message.

 

Note

  • All pending invitations will be shown as invited users when viewing the Users list view for your account. If an invitation link expires, you can resend the invitation.
